What does Brazil, rock'n'roll and children's TV have in common? Me! I'm Marcelo, great to have you here.

I've been an actor-musician for over a decade and I'm also the lead singer of The Vone.

I perform regularly with the epic children's band Andy and the Oddsocks and I'm also one of the leads in CBBC's Andy and the Band, playing the inter-stellar rockstar: Rio.

I trained at the American Musical Theatre Academy (AMTA, now known as ICMT, International College of Musical Theatre).

Before that I did a degree in Performing Arts at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.

And before that I was born and raised in Portugal by my Brazilian family.

Check out what I'm up to with Andy and the Oddsocks below!

"It's a real blessing to be able to teach a new generation of little rockers about music and about how important it is to follow your dreams and do whatyou love. I'm also proud that we don't just teach them rock, Andy and the Oddsocks introduces kids toso many different genres in our live sets and the TV show. I'm proudest of the message that we're sending: that it's ok and very important to be yourself. That you're unique and that that's amazing and something to be proud of."
